I am suspicious that there is more going on than a 'shot' from that finger. I did not think that a hamster could be taught such a trick, and still do not think so.

this one is easy. The film is in reverse, and the letters are edible.

The hamster is simply eating the words, and the tape is played in reverse, making it appear that the letters are being regurgitated.

I'll bet you are a real hoot at Magic shows........:D

Remember when you were a kid and reading 'Dick Tracy' comic books and seeing that neat little watch that was a two way radio??

Back then, anything like that was 'Science Fiction' and no one even suspected in our later lives we'd all be carrying small, efficient computers in our pockets.

Point is, anything is and probably will be possible.

But, I'm with you, I think the little one being shot is standing on an electrified mat.

My wife hates watching movies with me, because I will say stuff she does not like to hear. They will be skydiving and talking to each other or McGiver will make an explosive from a tissue box, and I will explain the faults with the scene. She hates it.

I had not considered actually electrocuting the critter. That is kind of a good one, but also a horrible one.;)
