Ninebot ES4 top speed issue

I have my ES4 for 3 months now with a total mileage of 1100+ km.

Initially, my top speed is 31kph then it got reduced to 26kph like after a month. Now it went down to 23-24 kph.

Does any one have the same issue or know any fixes?

Thanks in advance

I installed yesterday the extra battery on the ES2, and the behaviour at max speed is really strange.
Reaching 30 km/h it starts bouncing between 28 and 30 without having the possibility to set the cruise control.
Before installing the battery, the 25 km/h max speed was perfectly stable.
I will let you know if also the max speed will decrease in the next days

Please keep this post alive as I am also waiting to fix the extra battery in a few days.

I have had similar experience

My es4 has similar mileage, and has just started the headlight issue as well as this top speed issue. However the top speed issue is intermittent and obviously I have accounted for any difference in wind or terrain and battery level. But most days I am at 31kmh, my worst top speed again flat terrain no wind full battery was 28kmh. I am 6’ 250lbs btw.

I have installed the extra battery yesterday, I did a quick and short run at home in the corridor, I immediately noticed it got more torque. I took it out for a short 150 meter stunt, indeed it has more torque now and the speed reach to max 31kmh. I tried with the headlight on, no issues.

However, I still need to give it a better run to test it properly, it's currently continuously raining here though, will wait for a dry weather.

Torque

Torque machine, when it’s an es4. I love the first pull at wot and full battery. Just had to do the throttle hall sensor repair. Was easy just dumb magnet fell out after my first crash (rain and torque) not a good combo when the surface type changes from asphalt to bricks. Anyways I’m going to ask Ninebot to send me the parts to repair the headlight on fuse break issue. For now have a bike headlight.

I started to experience the same problem since last month.. I usually stay in red sport mode on my es4.. for some strange reasons, it only goes up to around 20 km/h on level roads instead of 30 km/h... frustrating since I couldn't find much info online.. Hope someone has a fix here.

I have 2 ES4 scooters and now only get 24 kph max on both. Maybe an update is coming soon.

There is one update at the moment for me (BMS 0.1.4.6, and some bluetooth encryption). Haven't launched sine autumn my ES2 + battery, but this is the one I see at the moment, and a little hesitant to apply it.

Have you aplied this firmware update?
