Batteries
Can someone advise.I was experiencing a low voltage of about 60 at my establishment. I did not know at the time and I plugged in six of my segways and all six immediately showed red and still are. Can someone say what may have happened and can this issue be resolved?

Since the same thing happened to all six of them, I'd be inclined to guess that the low voltage damaged the charging circuitry in the machines

worth trying first
Im new , and segwaychat doesn't allow me to post links just yet.. but if you search these forums for "Guide to reviving the Segway Gen 1 and Gen 2 battery" there is a pdf write up on how to float charge / restore your batteries. This worked for me on 3 out of 4 batteries, they all had red lights. I got 3 working again, which is huge! Like $2000 huge!
Its definitely worth trying first. |
