finding the permanent serial number?
 

where is a serial number etched or engraved on an 04 x2?my dealer says under a battery but i only see s bar coded strip of paper behindand underon the back edgeof the right foot pad.
how about a 2014 x2?where do i look im just being sure i want to be absolutely sure here

Remove the battery and you will find the serial number next to the battery connector/terminal

There has been at least one person that did not have a serial number etched underneath the front battery.

If you remove the front four battery screws with a long 3mm hex wrench you should see it.

Under the front Batt you will find the S/N engraved into the base unit.
