Solid green charge LED

After a recent power outage at home, I noticed one of the batteries on my i180 was charging with a solid green LED (it was previously charging normally with flashing green LED). I tried transferring the battery to my i2, and initially got the same result until I discharged it a bit, then it returned to normal charging behavior resulting in flashing green LED. I put it back on the i180, and it remains solid green again.

Any ideas or comments?

I'm sure you know this already, but . . . . Solid green means it's charging - Flashing green means the charge cycle is over and it's in the 'maintenance mode'. Left long enough, solid green lights should begin to flash . . . . when it's fully charged

If it never flashes after several hours, I think there's a problem with the board in the battery . . . . or maybe a weak cell which keeps drawing just enough current that the board never thinks the cycle is completed

Pete, if I understood your description correctly, then my guess is the charger (CSB) on your HT i180 machine has been damaged by the power outage (voltage surge). It is no longer able to recharge battery pack(s). The damage could affect both front and rear charging positions, or just one. While a few watts of power passes through the CSB to illuminate the green charging LED, the battery pack will never get recharged and the LED will never change from solid green to flashing.
