Also known as the "Segway Crawl" video. FYI, this was an agency-created comp, the company didn't pay for it and had virtually nothing to do with its creation.

That is good news

Because if I were Segway, I would have said to that agency, "You have it ALL WRONG" and then go on to another one that has it right!

Anyone who thinks owning a Segway means you don't get any excersize, obviously has never OWNED a Segway!

Thank heavens for that! I'm glad you cleared that up. I thought it was an actual advert that had been used and shown on TV. Thanks, John.

I really didn't get the advert anyway. And leaving all those Segways outside, powered on, is not a good idea!

No doubt! If they shot that in NY you would more likely see some very angry people crawling after several thieves on Segways!

Yeah, it wasn't a part of an agency review. The two advertisements (the other one is "World's Greatest Invention") were completely agency-driven and just something fun they wanted to do on their own. They were never aired on any TV station.

Keep in mind that an agency like Chiat\Day is probably outside of Segway's budget and are known for disruptive sorts of ads. The Superbowl Snickers commercial with the two guys kissing was one of theirs.

That was hilarious! I especially like how they use stereo types (nerdy scientist vs janitor/blue color worker). I think one of the guys at Engadget went to work for this ad agency.
