ES2 too many problems... Please help on this new one!
 

Hi i'm a unhappy owner of a ES2. After 2 days of usage i got the brake issue which i fixed myself via soldering. Now (afetr 1 year) i decided to upgrade to ES4 via the external battery... this is the issue i get:

I installed the battery and charged it, immediately something was not working properly, the red lights on the external battery never turned on. Any one knows why?

The scooter was working, tested it only in house, then i left it (not in charge) and the day after i got ERROR 45... i read it might be the internal battery (that was perfectly working before installing the external) and i don't really get why the lights of the battery are not turning on... anyone can help

1) ERROR 45 how to solve it?
2) External battery is faluty?

could this be caused by the external battery?

I had the same problem and no matter what I did, I could not get it fixed. I was told it was the circuitry on the external battery. Unfortunate I had to spend $230 and bought a new external battery off of Amazon. As soon as I installed it, it worked perfectly. I decided after that to just sell it. I had too many headaches. Won't buy another one from Segway.

The difference is a two bit China knock of to a real Segway....You get what you pay for and less.....Double redundancy isnt even available with the ninebot..."stuff"

I hope people dont get hurt bad.
