Corona Beer has been giving away Segways every month.

The winners all have been contacting me since the average Thai Kid could make better use of a brand new Honda Motorbike for $800.
So far I have 3 new Corona Segways in my fleet.

The dealers should contact some of the bigger corporations like Corona to offer Segways as prizes. This would surely help to spread the Segway gospel.

Promotors should take advantage of the awesome possibilities while there is still a WOW factor.

The last 6 months, the Corona promotor has models riding Segways at nite clubs and malls.
Every Corona bottle has a Segway sticker.
They must have printed thousands of lifesize cardboard cutouts of the Segway and rider.
These are propped up outside almost every place that sells beer.

The Segway may have more name recognition around here than in the USA.
People tell me they see Segways on Thai TV every day.
Some game show taped the Segways a while back and they rerun it daily.
Another tech show has the host opening the program on a Segway.
The computer convention we did last week had over 500,000 attendees and everyone seemed to know about IT.
We gave demo rides for 4 days.

The locals love to yell out SEG WAY when I go by.

It just occurred to me – I think the best sponsor for Segway would be Red Bull.

I think the synergy between the brands is enormous.
