I lived in Toronto, Canada ...also..
I am a poor Canadian "illegal" rides my i167 everyday.
By the way, is there anyone Owns a HT in Toronto area?
Prehaps we can "illegal ride" together. hehe..

The legality (or lack thereof) in Canada is determined by Provincial authorities, not Federal. Although there are existing laws on the books in most Provinces regarding motor propelled vehicles that often find the Segway "cubby-holed"improperly.

I know that Canadian dealers, including us and the folks at Segway of Ontario are vigorously attempting to "educate before you legislate" our elected officials, and I'm confident that with concerted effort and responsible use, we will see Segway Friendly legislation here as well.
