It's now getting close to summer, so I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about when the preexisting owners are going to be able to upgrade. Are any of the dealers preparing to do the software upgrades yet?

Justin,

As I'm sure we'd all like to answer your question...the info just isn't available yet.

Sorry! I'll post a thread as soon as there is something available.

Peace,

Justin,

While Terry posted earlier today that he thought they would be available this summer, it was my understanding that they won't be available until September or later as Richard has posted. If you want the batteries now, the only way to get them is by buying a new machine.

Segway LLC will be installing the 14.0 software upgrades at the SEG America SegwayFests in Manchester, NH and Washington, DC. This is the first step in being able to use the new batteries when they finally come out.

Segway still expects the accessory lithium-ion batteries to be available in the summer. It may be late summer, but that's still the plan...

Hey John, I still can't find the instructions for the Hauler! Do you know where it's hidden?

Thanks,
John
