I found the personal page of an Inustrial Designer over at DEKA named Mr. Choi. He seems to be assigned to the IBOT project. On his personal page, he maintains a photo album with some awesome pictures. Most interesting of them is one very detailed picture of "DEKA Centrum Omnium" that was given to Dean Kamen for Christmas in 2001. Also, there is a photo of Mr. Choi working at his desk with a cool looking Ibot miniature model in the background, as well as some curious sketches/blueprints on the wall. Check these out:

(Interesting to note.. In that video, Mr. Choi was followed around by on of those Segway trainers. So even DEKA employees have to follow the rules regarding training.)

I think I remember from the original find of Mr. Choi's site that he was actually brought in to help with design of "Ginger". I could be mistaken. He previously worked for Daewoo as a designer for new automobiles. I am currently trying to decipher the drawings on the wall behind him in one of the provided pictures. They are very interesting!

I took the drawing with the sketch and the model and cutout the two, creating two enhanced versions. They're in my photo album...

1) Closeup and enhanced look at the sketches: http://www.segwaychat.com/forum/photo_album_view.asp?cname=Main+Album&mid=2&cid=6&page=1&pic=ibot_sketches.jpg

2) Closeup and enhanced look at the Ibot model: http://www.segwaychat.com/forum/photo_album_view.asp?cname=Main+Album&mid=2&cid=6&page=1&pic=ibot_model.jpg

Actually it is the drawings in the photo of the deka id group that I was trying to figure out!

Oh, well.. I'm not sure but those look like sketches for the DEKA drug infusion pump. Anyone else know what they might be?
