DC SEG has negotiated a discount with US AIRWAYS for you and your travel to attend the SegAmerica Regional SegwayfesT in DC. USAIRWAYS is one of the main carriers flying in and out of the Washington region from many places around the US.

Travel discounts from 5 to 17% off, from all points on US Airways’ route system, on a wide variety of ticket options, flying into DCA (Washington National) IAD (Washington Dulles) and BWI (Baltimore Washington International) airports.

To take advantage of the discount, or just to see what the rates are contact Terri Healy at Kelly’s Travel toll free at 888.707.7475 or e-mail them at KellysTVL@aol.com attention SegwayTerri.

Kelly’s Travel is one of our early SegwayfesT DC sponsors and can offer a more personalized level of service than just electronic ticketing over the Internet. Having a real human being on the other end of the phone makes travel easier. If USAIR cannot accommodate you, Kelly’s is known for finding some of the lowest fares available no matter the airline – often beating the Internet deals that everyone thinks are so great.

Kelly’s is not affiliated with USAIRWAYS and will find you the lowest cost options available!

Kelly’s is also offering SegwayfesT DC travelers Travel and Trip Insurance for your trek to DC, which includes BAGGAGE INSURANCE. If you are concerned about taking your HT onboard, this may just be the answer. Travel Insurance also covers a myriad of things such as delays, and other gremlins that make travel today so stressful!

Due to the almost non-existent commission on airline travel Kelly’s travel does charge a $20 booking fee, but with the discounts they have negotiated for SegwayfesT DC and the piece of mind the insurance will offer, it will be worth the twenty extra bucks!

Jonathan - picture # 4 will be part of the agility games - but only as a part of picture # 2. You will have to keep the bottle and the glass upright and the white linen table cloth free of red wine. While gliding up or down the staircase. Easy answer there is to drink it first... Just kidding guys! That might attract that guy who wanted an HT after he got his driver's license revoked for DUI!

On Hotel Reservations - I know many of you (like me) are having to pinch pennies. These are the cheapest rates in DC that are close in and in a good area.

We also have several DC SEG members who will be opening up their homes and spare bedrooms as well, to help some of the gliders who might not come because of lodging costs. Some of those will be gratis, just remember nothing is ever really free, some work will be involved! Information about that will be forthcoming.

We want as many gliders that want to come to the SegAmerica Regional SegwayfesT in DC, to be able to come! If cost is an issue, we hope this will be a way to help some folks out.
