I ran across this yesterday. Looking for more Therapeutic Value of Passive Standing. My previous post on this subject cited materials From Stand N Go with citations from 1989. This source of information is much more recent and extensive.

This is somewhere between the SEGWAY HT and the IBOT.
It won't climb stairs, but, it will permit persons who cannot stand alone or step up 8 inches onto a Segway HT to gain the physical and psychological/social benefits of traveling while standing up.
