DC SEG - Ground Hog Glide - 2/5 Bethesda MD 10am

OK we have all been cooped up way too long, and the weather looks good for Saturday. Time to get the HT's out for some exercise - and for us to get some fresh air - and see some fresh sights.

Brook is working on a historical tour of Bethesda - that he wants to check it out with other gliders in tow.

Meet at the Bethesda Metro elevator at 10 am Saturday Morning (yes that is the day after today) Then glide around town under the Air Rights building, down restaurant row, across some sky bridges, through some plazas. Maybe end up at Barnes & Noble for coffee.

He has found that Houstons is extremely Segway friendly for a place to eat so if anyone is looking for lunch.

So Let's all get out and Glide who knows maybe we will see the Ground hog!

No winter is on its way out - suppose to be 50 degrees on Saturday - and the Segways want to get out and play!

No Groundhogs - but while in a tunnel under Wisconsin Avenue and the Air Rights Bldg, we were passsed by several policeman on bikes, with not a peep out of them - well they did give us a ring with their pedestrian alert bells!

Great day for a glide, though still a bit brisk so gloves were a good addition - we got to see lots of places in Bethesda - and got a great question.

The first time we have heard this one. From a wide eyed kid with several siblings and a weary
dad in tow "How Old Do You Have To Be To Have One Of Those?"

We made a stop at the new Apple Store on Bethesda Avenue - and checked out the goods!
