Hi, Segway Fans! I'm working my way through a local jurisdiction in cooperation with the local authorized Segway dealer in anticipation of opening a Segway rental enterprise in 2005.
The Mayor, Chief of Police, and Councilmen (Councilpersons) have asked for some input from other local authorities, specifically resort areas, that current enjoy Segway rentals.
They are interested in any local ordinances that restrict HT use over and above the State regulations and testimonials from other local authorities (police, city officials.
Do you sell, rent, or offer Segways for tours in an area that would be recognized as a “resort”? (beach area, lake resort, etc.) And could you provide some guidance for me?
My plan is to provide a professional, quality, safe gliding experience for my customers and drive sales volumes to the local dealer. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
