We've had two FABULOUS articles in the Orange County Register about our dealership in the last two days, but I don't have AOL and don't know how to reach Blinky.

I'll try to copy the links here and see if it works; maybe someone can move it properly to the "In the News" forum.

This is the "condensed" version that was in the local section of the daily paper today (7/23/04):

http://www.ocregister.com/ocr/2004/07/23/sections/local/local/article_177269.php

And this is the complete, much more in-depth article that was in the "Anaheim Hills News" insert in yesterday's Register. There's a good chance this won't really open; I did "copy shortcut," but this doesn't look like a link.

javascript:window.top.sys.openArtWin('/Default/Scripting/ArticleWin.asp?From=Archive&Source=Page&Skin=OCW&BaseHref=OCWAnaheimHillsNews/2004/07/22&EntityId=Ar00100')

Thanks to anyone who can help us. The response to these two articles has been tremendous!!

I try not to post news links that require subscriptions. Its to inconvenient for our members.

Sorry,

Thanks; I completely understand. Thank goodness I had copied it to Word and was able to take out the link and cut and paste the whole article instead, just a little while ago.

We're expecting yet another article in the Register tomorrow, believe it or not, with a different focus. They seem fascinated by all this.

If it happens, I will plan to copy and paste it to the HT Discussion forum as well, unless you foresee any problem with that.

Nevermind; no article today. The reporter called Friday and said his editor wanted him to do an in-depth thing on Jim and Dick for Sunday's business section, so he HAD to talk to them Saturday "for 20 or 30 minutes."

Because of the event yesterday, it was the last thing they needed to have taking up their time, but of course they agreed to it. The reporter came and spent an hour with Jim & Dick and then at least another hour hanging around, watching demos and talking to folks.

And there's no article today. Newspapers are just so unpredictable, but of course we're happy for the publicity.
