Search "shipping container" in this forum for several ideas.

Among the very best:

At the SLC Ticket to Ride last summer, I saw the Segway rep using a case from Case Technology Inc. www.casetechnology.com or 1-800-927-2533. They were nice sturdy cases, and would most likelt last a good long time and hold up well to air travel.

Hi Ross,

I know your Boss well. You are shipping a few Segways each time he goes to trade shows. Perhaps Monster needs to have a custom case manufacturer design and build a case for the HT and P models. I too want to ship mine to CEDIA. If we get enough people together we can purchase in quanity and get better pricing? It would be cool advertising to get the Monster LOGO on the side of the case? Perhaps this can be another MONSTER venture?

Good luck, let me know if you find anything that works?

Regards,

Marc

I had a sturdy case made last year which worked well

(previous post) I have placed an order for an ATA type case for the ht which I should have in about 7-10 days from Viking Case in St. Petersburg, FL. the design will allow all components (disassembled) including the front bag and other miscellaneous to be safely transported. Once received, I will post pictures showing the ht packed away. Cost was $536.00 and general drawing is as follows:

I also received a model 1660 Pelican case today which I will experiment with as far as a suitable case for the ht (the p will definitely be able to fit inside this with the wheels left on). The cost was about $240.00. General dimensions of the pelican case are as follows: www.sonyguy.com/1660.pdf

again, i have no connection or association with either of these companies.
