New Orleans road trip !

Allan Madar and I are planning on taking an extended weekend road trip from Houston to New Orleans around the 9th or 16th of April. We want to glide through the French Quarter, several of the old cemeteries, and a few other interesting areas.

Please share your Big Easy Segway stories or tips with us also. (I tried to contact Segland rentals there a few months ago and they apparently went out of business.)

Watch the streets carefully - even in the French Quarter there are areas where it looks like they covered potholes with smoothed over blacktop. I kept seeing them and thinking "god, during mardi gras I wonder how many ankles this hole broke!"

Still, it's a neat town and I think it'd be fun to tour on a Segway!
