Is anyone up for an EARLY SPRING GLIDE in the DC area?

If the weather is good - and it sounds like it should be on Sunday.

We are planning on checking out the Kalorama neighborhood of DC on Sunday afternoon. - Should be very few cyclists roaming that neighborhood to hassle us - we can look down on them from the Million Dollar Bridge over Rock Creek Park (CT Ave)

Meeting place is Dupont Circle Metro - North side CT & Q & 20th St NW

Meeting time is 3pm:

Wearing Helments would be nice folks!!!! DC Police have asked me to say that!!!

Great sunny afternoon glide!

Six DC & VA Seggers came together as a group and glided the streets of NW DC. It was decided that a group of segways in one place, together should be called a "Glide of Segway."

At the end we stopped at an internet cafe on 17th Street NW and plugged in with all of the laptops (you can tell it is DC - mostly PC types? since it was so nice their sidewalk seating area was filled with laptopers so we parked in a row alongside.

Thanks to every one who came out! Next time we are going to Glide Captiol Hill!

Turned out to be a great day for the glide. Ya, the cafe was dominated by pc's but did see 2 ibooks.

Still trying to recall every (well, mostly every) moment.
