Greetings:

I am selling my i series HT. I have only had it for four months and it is in perfect condition. No scratches, bangs, etc. I, of course, have all of the papers, manuals, etc. I hate to part with it, but I really don't get to use it nearly as much as I want and I feel that someone else could make better use of it. I bought it to commute to and from work, but unfortunately I can't use it on the train lines, so I don't really use it much at all.

I am asking $3800. Buyer pays shipping. If you have any questions please let me know.

ddw,

What is "Segway City"? Is that a company? Also, what train line were you trying to use your HT on? Did they tell you couldn't? And why? That doesn't make too much sense for them to do that.

Segway City is simply my handle here on SC. It's derived from a Texas C&W music show, but there's no tie there to me.

He was trying to use the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) subway/elevated trains that run in and out of the Loop. I understand there is a move afoot to get CTA to allow HTs on their conveyances system-wide. I believe it to be based on the lack of tie-down facilities for HTs while the train is in motion? I agree, it seems like an absolute marriage: CTA and Segway.

Would anyone be interested in leasing a Segway if that were an option?
