Fast Electric Car

I see there's a company in California, AC Propulsion, that has been building an electric car since 1997, called the TeeZero.
The interesting thing is they were originally doing 0 to 60 in just under 5 sec. and 100 miles @ 60 mph.
They recently switched to lithium-ion batteries and are now doing 0-60 in 3.6 sec., AND have a 300 mile range @60 mph.
Triple the range, now that would be nice!

BTW, it costs $220,000 (that's a lot of Segways!)
