They did a story on this car on Tech Live on TechTV. It's fast as hell. Quite expensive too if I remember correctly.

$220,000, worth every penny.
With the lithium pack they were running 3.7sec 0-60mph
It ripps the doors off a carrara-4, on a wet track. The vids are well worth watching
I think the vids on their site are old, with the Pb pack, still, it was doing a 4.1sec 0-60.
Alan did the motor design for the ev-1, and has evolved his system alot.
