Yesterday Segzy and I visited Larry at Fun Transport in Spokane.
Fun Transport is the second Segway rental business that I have visited in WA. What impressed me most was that Larry has set up a comprehensive training course that his customers must master before they are allowed to go out on their own. [^] The "other" place did not require anything more than the most basic demostration of skills before being set loose on the streets (sidewalks). [V]
Fun Transport is located in Riverside Park, in downtown Spokane. It is a large city park with a bunch of paved trails winding throughout. There are several bridges, a couple of which are narrow suspension bridges over the falls. Also in the park is an old fashioned carousel, a pavillion with more amusement park rides inside, a clock tower, a little red wagon and a bunch more stuff too.
It's a great place to go gliding :D
This was the first time that we gave no demos while gliding around. All we had to do was to tell people that they could try it out themselves right over there!
