yes, it is called hitch mount bike rack. It is quite suitable for attaching bicycle to your car
Today there are many on the market
You can find it for less than $ 1000

Anyway, Im in! .. Here's my custom made rack, it cost about $1000 to build, but better than anything I could find to carry two x2's securely. It's not easy lifting them up and on, I do have ramps that work great if im alone. The folding anti-theft locking arm over each one secures them down. The running lights plug into my trailer light socket, look great, and hopefully help keep people off my tail.

If you can find two older Saris Segway carriers, you can build a dual carrier with simple 2 x 2 inch tubing and three steel plates. I bought the Saris carriers off ebay for $150 each plus shipping. Got the tubing off ebay and had a local welder fabricate it.
