Hey, it's my first post! Too bad I couldn't share another glowing report. This is a pretty balanced piece that focuses on the sluggish sales among other things. $5,000 price is quoted again.

Wow, Jerry. Nice find. Excellent, in depth story. I thought it was very fair.

interesting points:

-one unnamed investor claims that he will still profit if Segway only manages to make inroads in the golf cart and atv markets.

-kamen's speech about taking back the core of our cities. Very rousing, to this urban travel vet.

-the emphasis that legislators, used to making laws for relatively dangerous things like jet skis and snowmobiles, are enamored by the benign Segway (I'm paraphrasing).

-Segway concedes that it isn't surprised sales aren't better considering the economic climate.
