Does anyone have a source of a good headlight?

At the moment there is no Segway light as such. the lights that are used by bicyclists at night are quite good. You can see a large selection at www.performance.com. The better lights may be mounted on the handlebar or stem, with the battery in a water bottle cage. Many are rechargeable, so you can dual charge the segway and the headlight at the same time. Also get a small flashing red light for the rear and pin it on your clothes....

I installed a cateye stadium III light (metal halide, 3 hours run time, 3500 candlepower). a bit pricey (349) but well worth it because it allows you to be seen and you can see the road far enough to avoid trouble.

also use three red led w/velcro under back of unit

had shop make split bracket for mounting and rechargeable battery mounts in water bottle bracket. (if anyone wants a drawing let me know)

I order one from Segway LLC this afternoon. They said it will ship on Friday.
