Noticed this posted on TIQ..

Has Gary Bridge moved on from Segway LLC?

http://www.segway.com/aboutus/executive_management_team.html

He is no longer listed on the executive team. Could mean anything... better job offer... he won the lottery... was reassigned to work on the the "hovering" version of the Segway... j/k :D

So does this mean that Gary Bridge will not be at the November 21-22, 2002 EXPLOR Awards and Forum, sponsored by the AMA(American Marketing Association)? Isn't he suppose to be there to represent Segway LLC?

The man who invented the scooter known as “IT” reveals his latest invention and shows Dan Rather how he thinks it will change the world.

Dean Kamen, the man who said his human transporter invention would change people’s lives, has a new invention that, he says, could change the world. The quirky inventor demonstrates for Rather how his latest device creates electricity without pollution and turns contaminated liquid into distilled drinking water.

Weskifm, I think Danumkc got so happy about the good news article he didn't know where to post. :D

I will try to look into that, it would be interesting who will take Gary Bridge's place at that event in november.

How do we know at the time when this segment was put together to now that Bridge may not be gone? It is very interesting that he is no longer listed on the executive team. I don't think they interviewed Kamen three days before the broadcast and just pieced it together in that time. Things may have changed from that point.

Would there be a public announcement about this if it were true? God only knows what Segway LLC is up to.

And if he were gone, is that such a major impact on a company that is privately owned? Maybe it would have been different if it were otherwise.

Always remember Blinky everyone is expendable or should I say open to sacrifice in the interests of gaining an objective.

I don't think there is any reason to be alarmed...

Perhaps Bridge had a better offer? Remember, Segway LLC is currently a small company. Maybe they couldn't afford him anymore... I have no idea. Who here really knows, but I think - in the end - it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I agree with both of you guys. I am sure Segway LLC wouldn't let one person be an obstacle in their pursuit to success. How this guy left and on what terms, we will probably never know.

Even as small as they are, I guess they are probably just feeling out the personal and making the right adjustments.
