Stolen Segway

While on a recent trip to Chester, Nova Scotia my Segway was stolen from
our parked car...any tips on how to proceed with insurance claim and include
information on this forum to perhaps find the stolen segway or to keep the
theives from profitting from my misfortune...I use this as my mobility device!
I need a new or good used one fast.

Can't help you with insurance, but the big question is, did they get the keys (Infokey, if an i2)? If not, they'll quickly dump the machine, or else they'll try to fool a Segway dealer into making a new one. Notify Segway, Inc. and your dealer of the theft, including the machine's serial number (get that from your dealer if you don't have it). It'll go on a list of stolen machines and any dealer who gets it in will refuse to make a key for it, and (hopefully) will hang onto it.
