I get ole errors and blank pages. If you can't read this, you know the problem already.

Hi Bruce,

I'm not seeing anything like that yet, but I'll keep an eye out.

Well, if anyone gets an error - please copy and post it to this thread.

BTW Lipinksy, what kind of problems are you having with the chat?

It froze me out once (I know, I'm not Lipinsky <G>) last night, and I think this happened to a number of people on and off- But we had quite a few in the room at the time.

This was in the regular forum here, The text areas would be a big black square, so nothing to copy and paste. Under the name of the poster it gave some OLE server errors. Not doing it now, though.

Forget the exact message. Basically a timeout. Also got Request Timed Out when I tried to ping the server. As for the online chat the chat screen did not change but my new input was seen by others.

When did this happen Lipinsky?

If everyone experienced this problem at around the same time, then perhaps the server hiccuped or something.

The server is not working for me. Here is the error message I receive:
quote:
getoffyourlazyassandgitityourself

This happens every time I ask her to bring me a beer. There is a much better server down the road at the local pub, but then again, I never tip my wife.

Most hosting companies tell you they up 99.9% of the time. Who has the time or resources to be sure they are. I would say most are closer to 90% or 95%. Probably one of our male ego problems. Lincoln [8D] P.S. Hey, 95% ain't all that bad. Night time maintenance probably accounts for 2 or 3% of that downtime. It is when a server is down for days at a time that it becomes a problem.

Yes, I just experienced the same prob...

I think the forum db was down. I'm moving this post to our SegwayChat Home Page forum. That's really where these types of threads belong in the future.
