Condensation in Segway handlebars

My Segway has stopped working! It will not start! There is condensation under the display glass and it looks like water has got in and caused the problem. I am trying to find a way to remove the display to dry it out. How can the handlebars be taken apart. Please help.

I'm assuming you have a gen 1 segway (?).
recommend not connecting to power until condesation problem is fully resolved.
Although you can lift the rubber gasket around the graphic user interface (smiley face) I recommend just working from the bottom of the control shaft. Hair dryer blowing up the tube, leaving the control shaft out in the sun to dry, and not touching it for about one week are suggested approaches.
