Ridiing on the Beach

Anything to consider before riding your Segway on the ocean beaches?

Waves, tides, getting bogged down in really soft sand, reduced range, UV protection, cold ocean breezes, fog, frisbees...

Other than stuff like that, and of course, water and sand -- no problem. Rinse it gently afterwards to remove any salt -- don't use a high pressure spray.

In North America, it is generally better to stay to the right side of the beach if you are facing south and at the Atlantic, but better to stay to the left side of the beach and facing south and at the Pacific...
