April 11, 2003 - usatoday.com -- Nevada Senate panel has approved a proposal allowing use of the Segway high-tech scooter on public pathways such as sidewalks and bike paths. The measure, approved unanimously Tuesday by the Senate Transportation Committee, sets a maximum speed for the Segway at 15 mph.
