Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I'm more of a lurker than poster and hope to learn from the chat members.

I'm retired and live in North Idaho where the use of my inherited i2 will be very seasonal. My i2 PT was purchased in 2007 by my 90 year old father, who thought it would improve his mobility following hip replacement. His first riding attempt ended in him falling and he hadn't been on it since. Then, last summer, he fell, broke his other hip and later told me to take it home with me. :D

I think it's the only Segway in the Inland Empire which includes Spokane, WA as I've not seen or heard of another. I rode it briefly in the fall and got lots of thumbs up but the local authorities don't want them on the bike/walking trails. I may be testing that this year.

Probably not, because that just says "null". I think you got there as a result of a POST, so the info you need to see the legislation in question isn't included in the URL.

I hate when sites do that. Queries like this should use GET for precisely this reason.

Let me see if I can scare up a better link.

Thanks guys but I live in Idaho, not WA. Idaho has enacted laws allowing use of PTs but in some cases allows local governments to have some control. Here's my research on State statutes:
