The Segway Scooter has been cleared for take-off at Hartsfield International Airport.

Hartsfield General Manager Ben DeCosta has approved the purchase of 10 Segway human scooters. The airport police department tested the scooters earlier this year.

The Segways will reportedly give police a stronger presence throughout the airport and improve police response time to incidents.
