Hello All,

I have been waiting for this for a while, this being a time when more people are utilizing the chat feature! Given as this is going on I think there is a need to update! There are two things I would like whoever is in touch with the crator of the software to try to change/update! I am assuming the software is just old for the chat feature! One addition would be the feature that makes your minimized income blink or sounds a beep when someone talks. It is easy to minimize, then get hooked on a thread, and forget the chat is going on! The second would be an enhancement to make sure that we stop getting booted off. It seems there are a lot of technical glitches and everyone seems to get the boot at one point or another. Please consider these improvements, as I am told, it is John who handles the software end! Thanks and have a great day!

Thanks! In the future, you may want to PM! me with the details! Great!

The chat software, unfortunately!, can't be updated -- we have the last version they created of this particular software! We're not likely to move at this time to another type of chat room! Sorry!

John!

You will have to use another browser! I had the same problem with a PC and firefox, I updated Java and that didn't work, I used IE even though I prefer not to and it worked! I don't think firefox likes it!

I dunno, Firefox is my browser, and I have no problem getting in... but it may be the difference between the PC and mac version.

I also use Firefox, but I think I know what the problem is... they probably have to go to http://mozilla.com Once there, go to the Firefox page itself. Look for add-ons. Download and install the Java add-on.

jon, i'm interested to know if eric's suggestion works. i just checked my firefox add-ons and i'm not running it. i think your laptop wanted some of the action last night and your desktop didn't.

what's still quirky is that your virgin install on the lappy worked but the upgrade on your desk didn't. again, sal and i both upgraded our machines and have been on the chat on two separate occasions without incident.
