Another Segway competitor?

Watch out . . . here is yet another Segway competitor. I think it's right up there with the motorized skateboard. It's called the ishoe, here is the video link:

interesting that they never show it stopping, let alone stopping quickly...

Interesting, but I wonder if riders end up fighting it alot avoiding doing the splits? I guess they do it the same way inline skaters manage to keep their feet near each other (and not doing the splits).

It'd be cool if those front wheels could turn slightly, and if the each skate could tell from radio signals/IR sensors how far away it was from the other. Then adjusting its trajectory slightly to keep the skates close together, yet still let the operator do macro changes in direction.

Stopping? Brakes are for the weak! We're trying to go somewhere FASTTTTT!!

Nothing too special about this IMHO...
3000 years ago, or so, Mr. Hermes is reported to have invented winged shoes that could bring him over the clouds anywhere he wished. In fact, his invention was so awesome, that his CMD (Mr. Zeus) appointed him an international Piza deliverer, or something like that.
BTW, his winged shoes were nicknamed Segshoe - so, nothing too original about this brand name too.

Looks kewl if you discount stopping, turning, stairs, comfortable ease of use, and, ummm..... safety (guessing from observation only).

I would say it's not a competitor as an electripod ("electric pedestrian") if it does not make you a safe pedestrian.

Being new to SC this link is probably old news to you, but the skates look way to wild for me and there was a hand control involve. I like the Segway method of control and this skateboard seems to be closer to segging.
