Verbose introduction

What is the purpose of the introductory notices to the Forum all dated in 2006? If there is nothing newer to publish, I suggest we eliminate the current notices. I am tired of scrolling through them every time I sign on.

My I suggest that you click on the words "New Posts" in the bar above. That way you'll only get things that have been posted since your last visit.
