1. Falls below a critical price
2. Reaches a critical mass
3. Replaces an existing technology
4. Becomes close to free
It would have been nice to see the graph for mobile phones, but there are plenty of other examples given. I think this video was in 2004/5 and it makes predictions about certain technologies by 2008. Interesting to see how they'll pan out.
