Bill,

That is a unit we designed and built as a prototype for a department at Emirates Airlines.

The top portion is designed to hold a data entry terminal (aka laptop).

The bottom portion is designed to hold a variety of items.

I've used this unit as a prototype for a bunch of other applications and it has been very well received. There are a couple of caveats though:

1. Don't use stainless steel - it looks good but boy can you blind yourself with the reflective sun

2. It needs a double kickstand to be really effective (double meanst one with two legs)

It is really cool looking, I was just thinking it looks MUCH more useful than the lower cargo structure currrently offered, but it also appears that it would cause substantial frontward-pull (i.e.: artificial "lean") and probaby also hurt like a mofo if you hit a bump too fast and your shins go into it!

The bottom section is actually three pieces. Two pieces are mirror images of each other and serve as the legs of the other part. These sections are meant to be common to many of the pieces we built around them, including the piece you see attached.

There is forward lean but my PA, who weighs less than 100 pounds, had no problem controlling it.

Finally, we put a rubber window seal around the inner edge IOT prevent too much shin damage should you hit it but yes, it still hurts a bit.

Steven, I was talking to anyone who knew where the pics were that were being discussed. For some reason, I thought Bill was referring to your website - but I couldn't find it (coming soon?). Now I realise he was referring to the pics in your photogallery of your store!

Now I've seen them, nice store and nice attachments. Like the lonely powerbase on the floor - looks like a duck!
