The standing wheelchair is not a particularly new concept, but this one certainly is the most stylish one I've seen. Can't find any more info on it.

Roro that is cool looking. Perhaps Johnson & Johnson could incorporate this design into a new wheel chair considering they now have the rights to the Segway I-bot. I like how it all is below center of gravity, the base that is. I think it would not be hard to self balance this way or add motors to make it move around. That is how I would start a design of my own personal HT, without the stand up feature like they incorporated. Just the base area and perhaps the knee area. Did you see the car, made for a wheel chair, at the same site?
