We will glide from our Store down Historic Route 66 to Park Ave and on over to Tingley Beach. Tingley Beach has 3 fishing lakes that are stocked with rainbow trout and big mouth bass. Glide your Segway from Lake to Lake, find the right spot to cast your line. Fish from your HT or park it next to you while you haul in that Catch of the Year!

This Tour will be the most fun you have had in years. We will teach you to fish, bait your hook, and even pack your fish in ice for the ride home. Let us help you glide around the lake catching the biggest trout and having more fun than you can imagine. Fishing licences must be purchased for anyone over 12 years of age. These cost $15 per day or $25 per year for anyone over "12 years of age" You may use your own fishing gear if you like or we will provide you with a pole and fishing gear at no extra charge.

Tour will include training on the Segway HT prior to leaving for the park. Tour Times are early and training starts at 6:30 am sharp. We leave for Tingley Beach by 7am and return to the store at 12 noon. We will provide fresh coffee and pastries for the training session. Guests should bring a backpack to carry snacks, lunches, gear, ect.

The Train station at the park has souveniers, food, drinks and fishing gear. The wife, daughter or Mother in-law may choose to take a $2.00 Train Ride through the Bio-Parks while others fish for them record size trout. The Train Ride takes about 1.5 hours and goes through the Rio Grande Zoo and the Botanic Garden.

We can bring young children (under 12) in our Pedway or one of our Child Trailers at No-Charge.

Whatever your fancy this is a Fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors. Call us at (505) 244-1420 if have any questions or if you would like to book this tour for your family.

Groups and Private Tours at specific times are available. Plan your next party with Segway New Mexico.

Has anyone actually cast out and reeled in a fish while in balance mode on the HT. That would be sort of cool.

Have fun with this creative tour.

Any hunting tours out there yet? It's just a matter of time....

Yes, fishing on a Segway is twice the fun and it really give the fishing person to move about easily and quietly along the banks of the lake.

Cool. We will have new pictures from the weekend tour. Shows the big trout we were catching.

http://forums.segwaychat.com/images/icons/icon14.gif Huge Catfish are being caught! Huge I tell ya!

It's not that we don't take your word at face value, but your reports of catching huge fish are, by definition, "a fish story", and therefore prone to a considerable amount of embellishment.

So please excuse us if a number of us remain skeptical! -lol

A shark feels the little fish hook sink into the roof of his mouth, so he yanks back and snaps the fisherman with his Segway into the water, then eats him. His friend, Nemo, (yeah, the clown fish) says to the shark, "another Segway fisherman?", whereby the shark replies, with the handlebars still flossing his teeth, "yeah, but this one is the NEW model".

You want comedy, watch Leno.
