Welcome to the New Segway Chat!


Well, 2005 was one helluva fun year and Segway Chat was glad to be a part of it. But as we’ve grown since our launch in 2001, we’ve also decided we needed a makeover and expand some of our tools.

So we’re please to announce the launch of the new Segway Chat, chock full of feature goodness. The main change is with our forums (http://forums.segwaychat.com/), of course. We upgraded to some kicky new forum software, called vBulletin.

We’re also in the process of porting over the photo gallery into the new photo gallery application, Coppermine.

Thank you for all of the great years with us, and we’re looking to spend many more in the future with you!

In the meantime, it does seem possible to upload small (<40k) attachments of various types.

Here's a small image I attached, then inserted into this message:

It shows as an image in the reply editor, but came out as a link on the preview. Let's see how it comes out on a post...

Looks like the attached, inserted image became a clickable popup link (above), and the attachment (below) is a regular link.
