I am thinking of starting a rental business. Any feedback on using the i167 vs. the i180 would be appreciated?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

The thin you have to worry about the most is battery life. Most i167s have Nickle Batteries with a 2.5 - 3 hour average charge and a 500 cycle life span. The i180s on the other hand, all have LIons with a 5 - 6+ hour average charge and a 1,300 cycle life span.

This becomes critical in your business since the battery charge cycle and life is what will keep your machines down.

Other than that, the difference is really aestheics.....

I know about the battery issue. The i167's I am thinking about all have the upgraded software to accept the longer battery ( i am told). My thoughts were to use the battery they came with until they wear out then upgrade to the longer life batteries. But I kinda have to weight the costs of buying the i800 with the built in longer batteries.

Thanks though for the response. I really appreciate it!
