Ok, but the point here is: the more initiatives like this, the better for Segway. This is no match for Segway, in a tech point of view, but it's a partner to open sidewalks for other than pedestrians.

This thing is classified as an electro-scooter and is not allowed on sidewalks because of this. Like bikes it has to be used on the road.

According to Segway Switzerland, they are in the process of getting a classification for the Segway at the moment, so hopefully I can use it legally later this year. However, it probably will also be classified as something that has to be used on the road.
