Have any of you seen any of these auctions? Check this one out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2707803629&category=22703

Why would anybody be bidding on a Segway if the seller can't guarantee delivery until after March 1st?

I wonder if the majority of the bidders are from outside the country.

Ebay selling of Segway related items is very interesting:

If you read the Amazon documentation you find that Segway, Inc does not guarantee delivery of a Segway between 3-1-03 and 7-31-03 it only promises to return your deposit if it doesn't deliver you a SegwayHT by 7-31-03. Selling a Segway on Ebay is like selling a stock short. It is selling something you don't have. I emailed one of the sellers and asked for his poster number. He replied he didn't get a poster because they stopped giving them out. That makes me wonder about these Ebay sales.

Also those segway domain names that are being sold on Ebay - Using segway in a domain name and trying to make a profit without permission from Segway, Inc. would permit Segway, Inc. to take that domain away from from you. Trademark violation.

The Segway posters seemed to sell for about $100 but I haven't seen anyone willing to sell theirs lately. The people selling the postcards on Ebay are also probably ok.

Anyway while waiting for my Segway I do crazy stuff like checking out Ebay for Segway items and posting to Segway forums with others obsessed by anything Segway.
