View Full Version : OT- Heading in for Surgery

Greetings Segway friends and family,
Tommorow I am heading in for Plastic surgery to remove excess skin from my body (Massive weight loss = LOTS of extra skin) the recovery period is about two weeks, and I hope to have some really good drugs (NO, I won't share!) in me. I have almost completed all my mods for my PIMPED out segway for segfest, I have ALOT of suprises in store for you (As does Karl) And I hope I will see you at SegFest DC and show off my segway AND ME!!!

Good luck, Jonathan! Drugs do help {grin} - you might want to try some protein drinks (if you haven't been doing them all along) to help with the nutrition for healing. I really do think they helped speed all the healing I've done in the last 18 months.

Well, the three hour surgery turned into a 5 1/2 Hr ordeal, Its 4 days later and I can see straight again, But I am in Lots O pain, Heading to my surgeons office today to see what fun stuff she can give me to help me cope with dope.

The only thing I can say is that it does get better day after day, and by day 10, I felt like 80% - good enough to go shopping LOL. But I did have good drungs.
