My pics for the best overall websites:
www.segwaynordic.se - The Good: Best intro, best music, good design. The Bad: the huge (3.6MB) intro file and the site music (2.1MB) take too long to load. Not available in english.
http://www.segwayexperience.com/ - The Good: Awesome look, Best designed, fast to load. The Bad: Not enough information. "Tours" and "Locations" should be expanded to show all dealerships, rental and service locations.
www.segway.com - The Good: Best source for official information, fast to load, decent design. The Bad: Not enough multimedia, not a great design, and way too much campy marketing.
www.segwaychat.com - The Good: Best meeting place for enthusiasts and great source of information, discussion, and Q&A. The Bad: Some parts of site site are getting dated or are just not used anymore. "Segway FAQ" does not work on with all popular browsers/OS combos. Seems like the site has some deadweight or extra baggage thats noticeable.
http://www.draft.cc/draft3/ - The Good: Vastly improved design since its beginnings. Good resource for the those seeking information about segway users with physical disabilities. The Bad: broken links are a tale-tell sign of some rough edges.
So, what are your favorite segway websites, and how do you think think they could be improved?
Personally, I would really like to see the multimedia of segwaynordic combined with the look and feel of segwayexperiance combined with the information of segway.com. That would be one awesome website.

But thats just my 2 cents

And SEGAmerica.org, what do you think about that?

I knew you were going to bring up SEGAmerica. I was reserving my judgement on that site until I remembered to make time to thoroughly check it out. I have looked it over and here are my thoughts:

www.segamerica.org - The Good: great source of information and useful links to other sites. (Links to other SEG groups most welcome). Design is improved since it's first incarnation, but navagation is a bit ubiquitous. The Bad: The "Find members in your area" link is still "coming soon" after, what has it been, a year(?) or more since the website was first put up. Overall: Could use a little design work, but doesn't have anything particularly lacking or any visible "dead weight". The Information fits the design which fits the purpose. Not bad, but could be better.

The site that adds the most value to the Segway Community is Segway Chat, followed by the RED KEY http://www.wingnut.com/theredkey/ .

Any website designed by Derek Hugger gets my vote for best artwork & creativity.

And my own personal favorite, SegwayGuidedTours.com! (Yes, I'm biased...)

http://www.SegwayGuidedTours.com/ads/SegChatButton.gif www.SegwayGuidedTours.com (http://www.SegwayGuidedTours.com)

The global Directory of Guided Tour rentals featuring the Segway® Human Transporter in the US and worldwide. Use this Directory to find Segway Tours near your home or next vacation destination, and experience gliding on a Segway for yourself!

By the way, if anyone happens to know of any guided tours that aren't in the directory please let me (or the tour operator) know! I'm always watching for new tour companies, but I can't possibly find them all... (This is a personal pet project, I do it in my spare time.)

Thanks!
