Hello Everyone,

As some of you know I am new to the Segway HT , just got it about a month ago. I use it everywhere! I have been already in three different states with it and every type of stores, planes, banks, movie theaters, you name it I have taken my Segway HT there. My entire life I have not been able to walk without the use of Crutches or a wheelchair, until now (See News links above).

I just wanted to say a quick word or two to anyone who is thinking about getting a Segway HT to assist them with their disabilities. DO IT. The Segway has given me the personal freedom to go places I would have never traveled before. DO NOT let these people who are scared of what they do NOT understand stop you from your freedom. New technology comes out everyday that helps people with disabilities have a more normal life and it is wrong to ban devices that allows a disabled person this level of maneuverability.

As a possible talking point, you might mention that in the galleria mall in Houston Texas ( a Simon Mall ) the security force ride segways in the mall.
