Today’s observations:

1. Pretty girls do occasionally ask for demos. This defies my previous theory which have to revise.

2. High heel stilettos are counterproductive when Segging.

3. Pretty girls inevitably come bundled with very muscular and easily irritable boyfriends.

4. Gee, I guess I wish my theory would have been right in the first place.

So do pretty boys,
your right about the spike heels
but short skirts, tight jeans and good posture
the "hooter scooter" glides.
someone told me the blue button makes it fly like ET bike, but I am not stupid, I know better.

Yossi,

Maybe you should trade your machine in for a Bowflex. :) At least they advertise.

A couple years ago at the Taste of Chicago I was approached on two seperate occasions by an attractive young ladies that had their significant others in tow.
The second time was a very nice brunette and she was just gushing about the machine while her SO was really giving me "The Glare". He irritated me a little and never said a word all the time the young lass was talking to me, just stared. I dutifully answered all her questions but declined her request for a demo as there were just too many people around and didn't want to open myself up for more requests.
The jist of this story is that when we parted I simply told her "If he REALLY loves you, he'll buy you one" and glided off.
BTW Yossi, old guys can get away with that.

Yossi,

He with the most toys wins. On a good day, wins the girl...

The X-man always managed to get all the girls talking, back when he was here in Chicago ... I never figured out his secret.

We'd be cruising around, and say, "Where's the X-Man?" Sure enough, he'd be behind with the ladies. Can't get sore at a guy for that. :)

Hey Broo,
I can still look. I'm not THAT old (at least in my mind). Besides, I was the only one that was unattached - and still am/will be. [:0]

To segue, or not to segue, that is the question.

Ah, I was assuming that it related to a restaurant we have here in the US called Hooters. Thought that was where Kitty worked.
Loved the play on HT, though.

Pam, now you really got me confused. Why would any one call a restaurant by a name like “Hooters” and why would a nice girl like Kitty be working at such a place?

Yossi,
Right off hand I would say that anyone can work anywhere they want in this country as long as it's legal. Some even go the other route and eventually pay the price. Did you ever see Gunsmoke? Miss Kitty went with the marshall and she ran a saloon.
As far as the restaurant is concerned, check this out; http://www.hootersair.com/ and for futher information try http://www.hooters.com/

Edited spelling.

My dear X-man,

You have taken my post way too literally. Here I was trying to pull Pam’s leg just a tiny bit with her learned explanation about Hooters and… you took the bait.

Now, I understand that with me being a foreigner and all, posting all over this forum in my bad English, you may have been confused so no hard feelings.

But wait… you did assume I watched Gun Smoke, so now it’s a double assumption. Foreigner on the one hand yet well versed in the (quite old) TV culture of the US on the other?

So just for the sake of clarity, I’ve also watched most of the episodes of “Married with Children” where Al Bundy has made a reference to “Hooters” as both the restaurant and the actual stuff at least once each episode.

By the way I also watched X-Men (both movies and X-Men 1.5 special release on DVD) and read the comics so am wondering which one are you? Perhaps Professor Xavier with the wheelchair replaced by a Seg?

Now with this behind us I do have a request. Next time I am trying to tease Pam a bit please please indulge me. :D:D:D
