Tuscany on a Segway, Gen 1
I called air canada and received permission to fly with the Gen 1 has a mobility device. I would bring it to the door of the aircraft, remove the CS and when we landed it was waiting for me at the door.
Over there it worked like a charm, I have owned it for 5 years and I never had pushed it as hard as I did over there , it went up steep hills (Montepulciano was probably the steepest) and came down with ease. In Italy I was never stopped,I took it into stores and a few times used it on the main roads. If the sidewalk was good enough I used it. The only place I was stopped was at the rome airport, On the return flight day I was stopped 5 times and asked what kind of batteries and if I had approval to fly with it. |
